So, Joani finally got her way and we have put a deposit down on a puppy. Not just a puppy, a schnoodle. I was fighting to get a black lab (an actual dog) but I figured it would be well worth it to keep Joani happy - I'm still convinced she'd love a black lab just as much but we'll see how this goes and maybe we can get a black lab as well down the road. Sounds like we'll be able to pick up the puppy the first weekend of August as they're not due to be born until the middle of June. Here is a pic of one of the puppies from the breeder we're working with - ours should be the same color.

Very cute, and Jeff don't worry you will look so manly walking your schnoodle!! BUt honestly it seems as though you have already learned one of the biggest lessons....Keep Joani happy:)
